Yes there’s some kind of freak height gene in my bloodline. My mother is 5’1 and my father is 5’6 and he’s from a very short Italian family. My maternal grandmother and grandfather were both 5’4. And all 5 of 6 of my great aunt and uncles are on the shorter than average side but then one of my aunts is 5’10, out of nowhere.
