Just bought this tablet. When I saw it wasn't paired, I contacted Samsung Support via phone, and they had no clue. Took me through 30 minutes of problem solving, calling me "Mr. Richard" the whole time, and finally gave up and told me to call Sales to get a new tablet.
Advice 1: Reset Network Settings. More often than not, the issue of airplane mode stuck on Samsung is resolved by resetting network settings of your device. Go to the Settings app and tap on General management. Now, tap on the Reset option and select Reset Settings. A notification bar will ask you to confirm the action.

This is the solution I use for my S20+ (and my S7+ when it arrives). It's a bit pricier and in the audiophile range but its portable and you can either use it to make any 3.5mm jack bluetooth-able (that's a word) or pass thru from usb-c to your 3.5mm headphones or other devices. I believe there is a newer model out now.
